What is Nylon
Nylon, a man-made synthetic fiber material, was firstly introduced in 1930s. It was intended as the replacement of silk which's more expensive. Thanks to its features such as strong and lightweight, it's widely used in many applications like rope and luggage.

Nylon Properties
Nylon possesses lots of properties which enable it to be a type of useful fiber in many aspects.
The advantages of Nylon include: strong, elastic, easy to clean/wash, FYI, you can wash it together with other similar items. It dries very fast and it won't deform even after being washed in the laudry, therefore, it has relatively longer life. Moreover, Nylon fiber is very responsive and resilient as well as relatively resistant to heat, UV rays and chemicals.
Nylon Usages
1. It is used for making fishing nets, ropes, parachutes and type cords.
2. It is used for making fabrics in textile industry, pet accessory industry (dog collars, dog leashes, dog harness)and other applications.
3. Crinkled nylon fibres are used for making elastic hosiery.
4. Nylon is widely used as plastic for making machine parts.
5. It works well with the combination of the pvc coating, hence comes the new material called pvc coated webbing which can be used to make innovative dog collars, dog leashes and even Equestrian products.
