Historically, bags have been invented for hundreds of years. A bag is a actually an ordinary tool in the form of a non-rigid container which is designated to carry things, from a book to even mountaineering equipments. Both men and women are using it. However, with time goes by, bags have become stylish accessories which represent the latest fashion trend. You may see a Channel min handbag which can carry no more than a lipstick. They are mostly made from fabric of some forms or another, but what actually influence our choice when purchasing.

1.    School Book Bags

As we know, a school bag is supposed to carry more weight than a common handbag. It should be wear-resistant enough to last for a few years at least. Therefore, natural or polymer fabrics are the most commonly used materials for the school book bag design. Recently, more and more manufactures start using new type material called PVC coated webbing as the replacement of the bag handles or other accessories.

2.    Fashion Handbags

A lot of designs are made of leather or some other natural materials. Current technologies include replacing natural materials with synthetic polymers such as polypropylene - these materials can be molded or woven, and can be made exotic or even translucent. Interesting semi-rigid shapes can be molded from a type of polymer called elastomer (rubber); polychloroprene (also known as neoprene) is one of these materials used in recent designs.Mountaineering Backpack

3.   Mountaineering Equipment

Higher requirements are applied to the material when it comes to the mountaineering Equipment. The product must be able to support a great amount of weight, and have the ability to withstand damage (such as scraping on rocks) and its performance in poor weather. Mountaineering backpacks have evolved from canvas to nylon to PTFE. "Goretex" is a PTFE-based laminated fabric used for wet-weather gear because the 'holes' between the fibers are too small to allow water in, but coarse enough to allow water vapor out.
