PVC coated webbing is a woven polyester strap with a PVC layer fused onto the surface. The polyester core carries the tensile load; the PVC coating gives the strap a smooth, waterproof, easy-to-clean surface. Cut ends are sealed, so the webbing does not fray or unravel during use.
It is produced in continuous rolls and shipped either as rolls or cut to length. Width, thickness, and stiffness can be adjusted, so the same base material can be tuned for different end products.

- Core: woven polyester yarn, selected by required breaking strength
- Coating: PVC applied over the core in a continuous process; TPU available for a different hand feel and chemical resistance
- Edge finishing: heat sealing or edge melting on cut ends to prevent fraying
