Recently, at the 2025 Pet Industry Technology Innovation and Investment Forum held in Panggezhuang Town, Daxing District, Beijing, attendees explored how artificial intelligence technologies can drive the growth of the "pet economy." Experts noted that with evolving times and technological breakthroughs, all aspects of Chinese society are undergoing profound transformations-including family structures, consumption concepts, and lifestyles. These shifts present new development opportunities for the pet economy, which centers on companionship and delivers emotional value.

 

On October 22, at a pet-friendly park in Wangxinzhuang Town, Pinggu District, Beijing, a dog drinks freely at a water station. The park features dedicated lawns, wading pools, slides, and swings to meet pets' diverse needs. Simultaneously, the park employs technologies like artificial intelligence to observe pets' daily behaviors and movement patterns, providing robust support for creating an ideal "human-pet symbiosis" environment.

Parks like Zhongguancun Forest Park permit entry for healthy dogs and cats, requiring leashes at all times and prompt cleanup of waste.

 

Community Governance Innovations
Kangdu Jiayuan Community: Installed "pet restrooms" and "poop houses" with cleaning tools; promoted responsible pet ownership through

agreements like "prompt waste cleanup" and "pet registration."

 

Fuhai Jiayuan Community: Added eco-friendly facilities like "pet urination guides" to direct designated defecation areas, reducing pollution in public spaces.
