Working with Coated Webbing

Waterproof webbing is made from two materials. The inside is a fabric webbing, and it's covered with a layer of thermoplastic polyurethane PVC (TPU). These two materials together make the webbing strong and useful. You'll see how easy it is to work with.

**Features of Waterproof Webbing**

The  PVC  layer is soft to touch and protects the inner polyester webbing. It resists water, chemicals, sweat, bacteria, UV rays, and weather. Animals don't mind the antibacterial surface. It doesn't wear out easily and stays strong in both hot and cold temperatures. The webbing meets REACH and ROHS standards.

A big plus is how easy it is to clean-just use soap and water. Even though it's thick, it's still soft and flexible.

This webbing is a modern alternative to leather. It's mainly used for dog collars, leashes, horse gear, and sports equipment like belts (safety, military, or fashion belts for men and women).

If you pair it with stainless steel or brass hardware, you'll make durable, high-quality items that resist water, sweat, and chemicals for a long time.

**Cutting and Punching Waterproof Webbing**

You can cut the webbing with a knife or sharp scissors. If you use a utility knife, you'll need some force (like cutting leather).

The edges will be smooth and clean. Unlike regular polypropylene webbing, you can easily cut waterproof webbing into round or decorative shapes. You can also use a strap end punch to make decorative tips.
